My name is Carlo, and I've been an Amateur all my life! (But only on Amateur Radio since I hit my thirties... ) I have a terrible sense of humour, (as you can see) and am not afraid to make all a victim of it! (You've been warned! LOL!) I love sharing what little I know with everyone I can, and learning something from everyone else in the hobby. That's why I'm here! My other interests include computers; music; biking and cats.

Greetings and Salivations! ;D My name is Dennis. I live in Sterling Heights, Mi and have been a ham for about a year and a half. Besides Ham Radio, I am interested in Astronomy, meteorology, and computers/repair.
I am a 6 meter junkie and monitor everyday when I can. I am getting a decent collection of Grid Squares (don't ask, Shannon) and states. My farthest contact to the West so far is Colorado, and hope to get farther as time goes on. Hopefully even some DX!.
Anyway, I hope to talk to as many of you as I can!
'73 for now!

Bio from QRZ:
Hi there, as you know the name is Ray.I live in Plymouth, Michigan. I recived my Tech. ticket on November 30, 2004. I am now the owner of a FT 7800R Mobile Dual band transiever and a Yaesu VX-150 HT. I use the 7800R as a base station at home. I am one to start out simple and work my way up, as I plan to do so. I got interested in communications when I was only about 10 years old. I picked up a hand-held CB radio from the local radio shack and starting talking to the truckers. That was fun for a while but I wanted something with less garbage - Such as people constantly doubling and the over population of the channels. So what I did is I turned over to internet voice chat. All I found there were a bunch of people playing music 24 hours a day. No fun there. My last choice was ham radio, and now I think it's one of the best choices I have made in my life. I wish I had started out with it first.
Anyway, I cannot wait to upgrade to my general license so I can start talking on the HF bands. In the mean-time for DX work I will sometimes be on Echolink, I am node # 218545 . I like real radio alot more though.
Well everyone keep on hammin' - and stick to the rules. One thing I fear is that amateur radio one day may turn into CB... Lets do it right and not let that happen!
73, Ray KD8AQO

Greetings to all de KC8TIH.
Name here is Bobby, but you can call me anything you wish, just as long as you don't call me late for supper. ;D
I've been a ham since March 2002, and I think I may just now be getting somewhere within the hobby. My job situation has plain sucked lately, and therefore, haven't really been able to put a lot of money into the hobby as I've wanted to. I'm still on the lookout for things, and I'm gathering the needed accessories as I can afford them, so sooner or later I'll finally have everything thats needed.
I own all Yaesu radios (don't know how I managed that one hi-hi) and they consist of the FT-530 2/440 HT, the FT-7800R 2/440 mobile that I use in the mobile (obviously, and it does well: 50 watts on 2 meters, 40 watts on 440), and I own the FT-100D, and thats what I have in my "shack", per-se. Right now, its more or less just a computer desk, but I hope to "deck" it out as the time goes along. Recent pic of it is on QRZ, so take a look.
I've got a huge interest in computers, ham radio (basically since my friend's mom and dad are hams, and since my uncle is a ham as well) and basically anything technology-related.
I'm interested in emergency management, and getting more and more involved with it, therefore, I am looking to very soon get my RACES Certification, ARES, etc. I'm a huge weather finatic, so therefore, I've got my Skywarn certification as well.
I love to chat, so if in doubt, feel free to get ahold of me online. AIM is always open, and my screenname is KC8TIH.
That's pretty much all for now, I think I've bored everyone here enough hehe. ;D
