Hello everyone!I have been a ham radio operator for a few years

My hobby is oil painting, when I could have a free time.

Hi,

My name is Gary and I'm an alcoholic... No wrong board.

I've been interested in becoming a HAM since the early 60's. I had a neighbor who was a HAM and I some of my best memories when I was a kid was hanging around his shack while he worked DX. Well I'm in my mid 50's and finally got the my license.

Actually I decided that since I didn't have to do the code, I might as well go for an Extra class license which I passed yesterday. I have a Yaesu FT-7800R on order and will make my first on air debut when I get it set up.

Next on my wish list is a HF rig but I need to find a way to do a stealth antenna because of HOA Hell.

Hello All
My name is Graham but I go by "Ducke"
I am from way over on the East Coast in Nova Scotia Canada.
I am presently studying for my Amateur License I hope to write the test in the New Year.
I have been a CB'er since the 70's and a scanner for most of my life. So radio is not all new to me.
I am a Lawn tech in the summer with a company called Weed Man and in the winter I do what ever work I can find preferably inside .
My hobby is brewing Home made Beer,
I even have my own brewery "Crooked Rooster Home Brewing".
