Industry Canada Amends Call Sign Policy
Industry Canada has issued RIC-9, Issue 2 (Provisional) Call Sign Policy and Special Event Prefixes, effective October, 2005, to reflect modifications to the International Radio Regulations pertaining to the formulation of call signs for the Amateur Service. The regulation changes result from the decisions of the World Radiocommunication Conference in July, 2003.
