Link to storyThis is actually news from last month, but not mentioned here. It's a good thing, IMO, but unfortunately, the large number of local agencies moving to trunked radio systems, and effectively removing the ability to talk to their next-door communities in the process concerns me. Ironic that Canada and the U.S. can agree to this to help with cross-border communications in emergencies, but both our locals forget to consider that in their new radio systems.
