Note the decline in Tech licensees, most of which can be attributed to hams that upgraded. All those "second class"
no-code techs moved on up to that nasty General class, having to learn that nasty CW stuff... 
This is going to hurt some to say, but IMO, some of the Hams that "disappeared" are ones that didn't renew after their time came up, likely because they got such a warm welcome from some hams that treated them as "second-rate" operators due to their no-code tech status.
Sorry, but that stinks.
