John was always tutoring youngsters in Amateur Radio. He was always at the local mission setting up the "Santa on the Air" for the kids. He helped teach some of the local Amateur Radio courses for new hams in the area. John also held the club callsign for the Amherstburg Radio Club.
He will be missed.
It is with a sad heart that I'm writing this e-mail. John Bridgman passed away at 10:00 am this morning in Leamington District Memorial Hospital. He was born November 23, 1948 and passed away April 25, 2009.
He will be taken directly to be cremated as per his instructions. In the near future, there will be a party to celebrate his life & to say good-bye to him (NO FUNERAL) also as per his instructions.
